Gullane steading – a second home

Gullane Steading Holiday home is situated conveniently on the edge of the scenic golfing, beach coastal village of Gullane in East Lothian. With the world famous Muirfield Golf course which has staged British open golf tournaments only a mere drive and flick with a wedge away.

Gullane golf course is also the annual host to the US Kids golf tournament which attracts junior golfers from around the globe to compete over the 3 courses that cover Gullane hill.

Not forgetting the Number 1 course at Gullane, which was host to the European tours Aberdeen Asset Scottish Open in both July 2015 and 2018.  We were graced with fantastic weather and was great to see the worlds top golfers tackling the sleeping friendly beast of Number 1.   In 2019 and 2020 the Scottish Open was held 1.5 miles in the other direction from Gullane Steading Holiday Home at The Renaissance Club.  It is scheduled to return this year between 8-11 July

Gullane not only offers golfers a mecca to enjoy but let us not forget the beautiful award winning beaches with there beautiful soft sand and top bathing water. With the John Muir walk running along the beach and the magnificent nature reserve only 2 miles along the road at Aberlady, there really is something for everyone.
